Outlook Treats

Microsoft Outlook has a number of places to store contact information. In many organizations the standard setup includes a global address book under the care of MIS/IT, a personal address book and a folder called Contacts.

Contact objects can hold more than just addresses and can be tightly integrated with other Outlook objects like Meeting Requests and Tasks. Here’s another little treat you get in the Contacts folder.

Just click on the icon and you’ll be taken to the Expedia web site and shown a map of the address. If you’re an Expedia member, you can ask for driving directions from your office while you’re there!
