Statistical Charting In Excel

Make the most of Excel's charting and statistical abilities

Package Contents:

The purpose of this package, the handout material from the Far West Research and I Get It! Development seminar on Charting and Statistical Analysis in Excel, is to describe the charting capabilities of Microsoft Excel, particularly as they relate to statistical data analysis. Readers are not required to be familiar with inferential statistics, but it is recommended to have a working knowledge of descriptive statistics, such as the mean, the median, the standard deviation,
the range, etc.

Our emphasis in this package is to focus on exploring the data with the help of statistical graphics. By doing so, our goal will be to answer the following question: what preliminary conclusion(s) can we reach by visually inspecting the data and by using summary (descriptive) statistics?
